In this conversation, Caleb Spaulding shares his path into rhythm, and the way it has become a tool for connection, healing, and presence.
Caleb carved his own path, teaching himself to play the dums and following an instinct that has stayed with him ever since. What began as sound evolved into something deeper. A way of communicating, of guiding, of creating space for others to feel and release. As a drummer, facilitator, and collaborator with The Class, Caleb invites people into an experience that feels both ancient and immediate.
Today, his work lives at the intersection of rhythm, breath, and presence. Through drumming, facilitation, and immersive experiences, he invites people out of the mind and into the body, where something more honest can emerge.
There is an intention behind everything he creates. Not performance, but offering. Not instruction, but invitation. A reminder that healing doesn’t always arrive through words. Sometimes, it begins with a rhythm you can feel before you understand.
