Tricia was raised in Brooklyn, NY, and now calls New Jersey home. As a native New Yorker, there isn’t a lot she hasn’t seen. With this perspective, it's in her nature to get to know people. She knows her neighbors, the kids on her street, the folks at the corner convenience store, bus drivers, bagel shop owners, train station attendants, and the baristas at her favorite coffee shop. In her world, saying "good morning" to everyone is second nature.
From the streets of New York, Tricia gained a deep understanding of humanity—a respect for the diversity, resilience, and stories that make up her community. It’s a perspective that continues to inspire her, and is the driving force between IEIV.
